    3. I am trying to identify the mother of three Seale (Seals) siblings who migrated to Nacogdoches Co. from Butler Co., Alabama. One brother, William Riley Seals (1833-c1882), was already in or around Cherino by 1860, and the brother James Thomas (aka Thomas J., c1835-1906) Seals arrived there about 1871-72. The sister, Mary Seale Jones (b. c1830), widow of Amos Jones, probably arrived with her brother James Thomas, and in 1880 was living with her daughter Mary Rasberry in Linn Flat. The three siblings' father was Thomas Seale III (d. 1842) and their mother's name has been reported to be Nancy, possibly a Perritt, but no one can produce any evidence of this. (The Perritts also came from Butler Co and from Arkansas.) Widow Seale remarried and moved to Texas, but I don't know the name of her new husband. I have found several candidates for Mary Seale Jones' children on the 1880 census and I need to verify if these are actually her children, in order to find living descendants: 1880 US Census, Nacogdoches County, Texas, Cherino, pg 235D: Francis M.
