C55 are pictures and write ups of the Appleby Community Article mentions the families that came to that area 1850-1860 which includes OLDS;SLAYS;HANEYS. Only one that mentions where from--HANEYS came from S C by way of ALA. F426 Haney family article--Ida P. Haney b.12/20/1868 m.BOB OLDS in Limestone county Ala. F969 SLAY Family article Father Wm. Madison Slay b. Scott county Ms. Dau. Martha Jannette Slay b.9/21/1874 m. General Lafayette OLDS I hope this helps you some.
