Reeves (b. 1881), of Appleby, Texas. He was married to Jessie May Deen, of Winn County, LA, and they had three children in Appleby: Douglas, Jewel, and Mildred. I would appreciate any information at all about Abner or his antecedents.

There are several families of Reeves in the NACOGDOCHES COUNTY FAMILIES book printed in 1985. I did not find the names you mentioned but,Johnathan Floyd and his wife Emma(Barrett)Reeves did extensive genealogy research on the REEVES families-back to 1490. He published a book REEVES REVIEW in 1976. I donot know where you might find a copy. I am not related-only found this in NAC. CO. BK.
