Simon Brehm who lived in Nacogdoches between 1912 and 1919. He was a watchmaker and jeweler and may have had a small store. They came to Texas from Attica, Kansas, and left Texas to go to Douglas, Arizona. It is possible that Margaret Stout, grandmother of Bertha, was living with them. Two of their infant children died while they lived in Texas. Brehm was known as "Allen Brehm".
