That is a good idea, but the reason I started posting the current obits is because a few weeks ago I saw a surname of my late husband's side of the family and after reading it, I was certain it was a relative of his. Being a widow myself, I waited an appropriate amount of time and then contact the late man's wife. She was able to give me a wealth of information. I thought someone else might benefit as well.
