My g-g-g-grandfather was Adolphus STERNE who served in the Texas state legislature. I have found, online, a photo of his wife in the article Women of Pioneer Days. I have found a photo of his home in Nacogdoches & also his gravesite. But I'll be darned if I can find any photo of him or information about what he might have accomplished as a legislator.
