Roy. Thanks for the info on Lovelady, TX. Was the area developed or named something else before 1872? My ggrandmother was rumored to have traveled there many times to visit, but she died in 1868, so I don't know how that could have been possible if the town was not yet formed. I have been trying to find out who she was visiting for the last two years. Any suggestions? Linda
