Thank you so much for your information. Now I am more confused than ever! The Massingill info was passed along to me by a cousin who is doing research on the family. Mary Jane Lilly was William and Elizabeth Lilly's youngest daughter, born just before he died in 1840. So it could not have been Elizabeth (the widow, born in 1810) who married this George Massingill. Some researcher has the two mixed up. Wonder if there was an older Massingill that Elizabeth might have married, and subsequently her daughter also married into that family. Again, thanks. Sue Wright
