Ref: George Octavis Mack b 16Oct1856 I am trying to locate George Octavis Mack, my great uncle, his last place of residence and burial place. The last record known of him is in the McKinney, Collin Co, TX, newpaper in an interview with the editor. George cam to Texas in 1867 with his father (William Robert Harvey Mack) and family from Maury Co, TN. He was an admitted vagabond and loved to travel over Texas. All my family and relatives who knew him are gone and I have no known family source of him at this time. Is there any in/round Nacogdoches that may have the knowledge or access to records of George Octavis Mack? He had been divorced in Palo Pinto, TX, and could have remarried. I want to publish a book for the Mack Family of Collin Co, TX, and he is the only family member of which I do not have the last residence and burial data. I do not want to publish the book without his data. Thanks much and have fun.
