Thanks for the replies. I was trying to see if there were a pattern for where people came from in regard to where they settled in the Nacogdoches Co. area. I know that is true in some instances, but a not large enough sampling to draw any conclusions. It was more circumstances where they lived and who their family connections were. In Nacogdoches Co., my folks mostly settled in the Martinsville, Chireno, Melrose area or the Linn Flat, Cushing, area. They might not have been kin before they came (although a lot of them were) but they soon intermarried. I stripped the locations down to one line. Sorry if I left something out.
