My relative, Theressa Jane Thomas Singleton, was in Nacogdoches Co. in 1880. Her husband had left her and she had 5 children still at home and a grandson living with her in the household of Robert and Emma Wood. If anyone can help me with a connection to this family, I would appreciate it. I feel as if there is some reason Theressa went to Nacogdoches Co. Tx. She married in Barbour Co. Al., then to Bossier Parish La., then Polk Co. Tx. and then to Jasper Co. Tx. before moving and dieing in Nacogdoches. The family names involved were Singleton, Thomas, and Hagler that I am aware of.
