I found new family in the Nacogdoches area. Aylsie West - born 1847 married to James Monroe Cole moved to Nacogdoches. They show on the 1880 Census. Is there anyone else researching this family. Aylsie is my 2nd cousin 3 times removed. Now does that mean she's my 5th cousin or what. Never could understand how that works.
