There is a W. S. Thomas(a Nun) listed with the able bodied citizens of Nacogdoches County 1870 Muster Roll of Reserve Militia. She is listed in Prec. 3 which would be Melrose. Can anyone help me with information as to how to find records on a Nun in that time period. I believe her to be a Great Aunt-sister to my Great GF William Marion Thomas Sr.(about 1832-1885) According to that listing she would have been born about 1839. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
