    3. I've been scanning some of my grandmother's old photos and trying to identify the people in them. There are ancestors, their relatives, and friends. Most are not marked and there are very few people alive and with eyesight good enough to help the identification. I do have a group of pictures that do have names on the back. There are also penciled numbers. I see no connection but I'll discuss then in that order. 10. Two young women standing on a stump. There is a "Dog Trot" house in the background. The names are Rebecca Dawson and Susie Glazle. 12. Two young girls holding a large slice of watermelon. There are no names but a stamp on the back identifies the photo as a "Genuine BORDER Fox Tone Picture by Fox Co., San Antonio, Texas, Copyright 1925." 22. A young boy holding a dog and the same two girls as in 12 each holding a doll. The caption reads "Susie Dawson, Rachel Dawson, and J.T. Dawson." 23. A young man standing beside a railroad track. "Johnnie Dawson." 63. A young woman, "Elweno Dawson", with a railroad trestle in the background. I think I recognize this as the long trestle between Frost Lumber and the N & SE depot. 87. A very young boy in the yard of a 'dog trot' house. There are two other people in the 'trot' but it's hard to make out their features. The boy is Duwel Ben Dawson. Do these names sound familiar? Would you recognize the faces? I can't send attachments here but contact me and I'll send them direct to you. Vaughn <[email protected]>
