Stacy, I found her address again. Louise Martin is at: [email protected] Try that and see if you get some kind of response. Be sure to mention my name and it will ring a bell with her. She has been very helpful to me in the past. Sue in CA
Hi Stacy, The other cc bounced back. Try a search on FTM for Louise Martin and see if her homepage comes up. It should. She is rather elderly but very active in searching there around those parts of TX. Good luck. Sue in CA

Several years ago Carolyn presented a workshop here in Lubbock, TX. I had a conflict and was unable to attend. I understand Carolyn has an excellent reputation as an accurate researcher and writer. I too, was told her workshop was well accepted and she was well prepared for her presentation. Every contact by *E* has been an informative and learning experience for me. There appears to be many courteous and helpful subscribers on the above Rootsweb pages. Again, thank you for your time to share the Ericson Books URL. Hello Betty i post quite a lot , on different sites, i am afraid i dont quite remember which one you are speaking about. If you will copy that post to a e mail, then i can see which one it is , and i will reply ,right away to you. thank you mary [email protected]
Mary, while reading your response to Morrison family request. It peaked my interest. I do not have access to the above book, Vol. I. (Is there a Vol. II?) In the event you have access to both of the above Volumes (if there is a Vol. II) May I ask you to copy any data on the above families? If your schedule allows you to make any copies, I will promptly send a M.O. to cover copying cost, postage and any other costs incurred. I have a post it attached to my monitor with the following as a reminder about genealogy- "We share, we learn....we give in the hope that our deed will come back to us." Of course that thought can be applied in may areas of our daily activities. I will look up this name tonight and write you back, one way or the other. Pat
I wpuld like this info also.
Do you have any Acosta in your book? He was married to a German woman. Perhaps a Frank.
I saw this and wondered if anyone might go into the subject a bit. Iam researching a Portuguese Acosta married to a German woman who moved to Texas apx 1875. Grandson later married a woman from Old Mexico. Trying to find info on this early family. They were in San Angelo apx. 1900 where my son's grandfather was born. Can anyone help?
Hi Pat I was wondering if you might look up SCHUTZ for me. This is my husbands line & no one seems to know much. Thanks alot, Ronda
In the book Nacogdoches, Gateway to Texas Volumne 1, there are 5 Morrisonss listed. Edmond Morrison - Unfinished business Vehlein's Colony 16 Feb. 1835, native USA with wife and four children. James M. Born @ 1798 North Carolina Married Harriet. John 1846 Poll list. John C. born @ 1801 North Carolina Married Maary Donaldson John E. Third Class Headright. Emigrated Nov. 1839 as Married man. I didn't find them in Nacodoches County Families. If one of these seems to connect, let me know and I will send the rest of what it says, although there is not much. Pat, may ask for your patience in looking for your German Family in Austin Co. TX. We have a wee book written in the early 1930s about German families+ others in Austin Co. and nearby counties. Unfortunately-no index, however, I will make a hard copy of your e-mail and insert it in the book as a reminder and too, make it easier to find your family name if they were included in the book My husband's family lived in Austin Co TX following their arrival from Germany, New Ulm or Bartlett, if my memory correctly serves me. That is my explanation of the book that have remained in the Wienke family all these 60+ years. Betty Cole Wienke, Researching: CLOVER, GANN, HOWARD, MASSSINGILL
Does the Heritage Book on Nac. have anything on the Morrison's Family from around 1880-1910? Would apppreciate any information. Bob Morrison
