I would be most grateful if anyone has access to a Montgomery Co. Deed Index for a look-up on the following: WILLIAM SANDERS sold to VARDEMAN HALSEL - sometime before 1851. Described in 1851 on Walker Co records as: "a certain tract of land in said county belonging to VARDEMAN HALSEL containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less and formerly a part of the head right of WM SANDERS".
