REMINDER: The meeting tomorrow night will start 30 minutes earlier, social at 6:30PM. meeting at 7:00PM There will be no general meeting in April. On April 17, 5:00-8:30PM we will be having an abstracting workshop in the genealogy department. Since it is always closed on Monday nights, we can get some serious work done. May meeting: Mary Fay Smith will talk on the 1787 Ordinance. BE SURE AND MARK YOUR CALENDERS FOR THIS: June 24: Robert Clay from Virginia will be our speaker for seminar. (No general meeting). This will be at the new convention center (due to open in May). I will let you know ASAP as soon as I get the rest of the details, price, time etc. We also need volunteers to help get this set up and publicity. For you that don't know, the convention center is out by the fairgrounds. I believe it will hold 5000 people. So if any of you are vendors, you might want to check this out. We will have a booth set up. The MCGHS voted a couple months ago to mark down some of the excess books we have in stock. I will be sending a list out in the next day or so.
