Rosamunde Stewart was a fine and gracious lady, whom our Society and myself will greatly miss in the years to come. She was the keystone upon which the formation of the patriotic chapters in Montgomery county were organized. She and Fannie Pearl Surratt were our greatest support members when Lynn Davis, Bobbie Harris and myself were organizing the General Andrew Lewis Chapter, Children of American Revolution, under Margaret Montgomery Chapter, DAR back during the early 1970's.
