    3. Anyone have access to 1870 & 1880 Montgomery Co., Census records, that they are willing to share? I need info on my g-g-g-grand parents, MATILDA PALMER/PARMER, and her husband, A.W. ALFRED WILLIAM MORRIS. Would also like to know the surnames of others living near them, if possible, to learn if relatives lived near. My A. W. MORRIS, appears in the 1860 Montgomery Co., Census, as: #28/28 A.W. MORRIS---38-AL M. """-----31 f--AK A. W. """ 14 m-Tx M. E. """12-f-TX M. M. ""7-f-TX M. B. "" m TX G. C. ""3-m TX A. J. DAVIS--25,-m GA L. W. SURGHNOR(?) 27,- m VA CROMBWELL-24, m -England C.JONES-33, m NH(?) GARDEN 22,-m SC GIDDENS--25,-m DC A. SHIRLLY 28,-m TN This info provided by Jane Keppler. If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge of the other adults shown in the home, I would appreciate learning about them. All are male, but some might be teachers, rather than farm workers. It is said that the A. W. MORRIS farm was part of present day Lake Conroe. He died in 1866, after Civil War injuries. Having a really tough problem tracing my A. W. MORRIS, prior to his entering TX, and would surely like to see if additional census records, would agree with his birth place as being in AL, and would also like to learn the full names of the children. Thanks so much, Sallie Cannon
