Subject: Seminar in Houston 28 October 2000 If you live in South East Texas - and within a couple of hour's drive of Houston - The Houston Genealogical Forum invites you to its all day Genealogy Seminar on Saturday, 28 October 2000, in Houston near the Houston Medical Center. The seminar will feature a nationally recognized genealogy lecturer who will be discussing the following topics; "MY ANCESTOR'S DEAD - WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?" 1.) CLUES CONTAINED IN PROBATE RECORDS 2.) POST-DEATH COURT RECORDS OTHER THAN PROBATE 3.) SEARCHING AND MAKING EFFECTIVE USE OF PROBATE RECORDS 4.) WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? Each lecture lasts approximately one hour, with a 30 minute break between each one. During the break, attendees can browse the vendor area where up to a dozen vendors of genealogical material will be displaying their large collections of maps, reference books, record abstracts from around the U.S.A., software, aids, etc. There will be a 90 minute break for lunch and vendor shopping.
