Co??) son of Thomas Jefferson Carson and wife Catherine (King?) of TN (1830 Census). Mary Zahr married Thos. J. Carson sometime after the death of his first spouse, Mrs. Elizabeth (Vizier) Jones, widow of James Jones of MS. Mary had a father who was Joseph Zahr/Zarr from Prussia and he was a Tailor living in and near Wm. Wallace Vizier in 1870 Census in Madison Co., TX. Does anyone in Montgomery Co., TX have any links to these Zahr family members of Walker and Madison Co.,TX? They were from Prussia and probably into Galveston with a lot of other German folks before 1870. Also, William Vizer/Vizier/Viser of Montgomery Co., TX (later Walker then Madison a part) is the line I am working on here. Who are the parents of his wife, Rachel Brazleton Ford? Were they in AL and MS prior to TX? This couple lived in Madisonville, TX later and died in that locale. Elizabeth Vizier Jones b. 1830 AL...is she the daughter of Wm. Vizier b. 1794 VA who married Rachel Brazleton Ford? Elizabeth Vizier Jones married Thomas Jefferson Carson, b. 1816 TN in 1840 or 1841 in Montgomery Co., TX at Huntsville. Thomas had a brother, Hiram King Carson b. abt. 1814 TN and a brother James Carson born about 1818 TN who was in Rusk Co., TX in 1850 Census. Rev. MacDonold and wife, Margaret Grier are the parents of Sarah who married Hiram K. Carson and Tennesse who married James Carson.
