For those of you who were at the meeting heard me say we would be honoring charter members on Founders Days this year. That is not entirely true. What we are planning is to honor a very special person, Vera Wimberly. For those who don't know the hundreds (could be thousands) of hours Vera has devoted to the society and the county. Clata is going to make a quilt with photos and that is what we are looking for. So if you have any old photos of Vera let me or Clata or Lena know as soon as possible. Also, I am looking for suggestions of where to have Founders Day this year. I had several complaints about the church this year. Also I need a helper for this event. I would like feedback on about having it on the weekend. Seems like a Monday night is almost not enough time allowed to really enjoy it. Let me hear your comments. Jane Sanford Keppler Conroe, TX
