Hi. I'm new to this list. My grandmother's brother, John Watson Ledbetter, b 12/9/1875 in San Saba Co, married to Emily Excel Ledbetter (no kin before marriage) lived in Hazelhurst, Montgomery County in 1935. Is there anyone I could contact that could check the records there for me? I would also be interested in the Fonders Days. I live in Houston, TX. I work full time and a half so I can't help with the event but might be able to attend. Does Montgomery County have a genealogy society? Thanks.
