USING  CITY  DIRECTORIES  IN  GENEALOGY           Speaker:  Cary Hall (Sr Library Asst at Clayton Library)           Clayton Library Friends Seminar  Saturday, June 9 10:00 a.m. Bayland Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet Cary has been a staff member at Clayton Library for about 5 years where her current duties include Microprint Assistant and Gift Department.  She is an enthusiastic advocate of the value of city directories in genealogical research and will discuss the types of directories, the importance of directories, and the types of things that can be found.  This is a free seminar for CLF members. Others may attend as guests, but we will encourage them to join CLF at the seminar ($10 single membership, $15 for two people at the same address).  As you already know, membership includes a quarterly newsletter dealing with the collections and resources at Clayton Library, quarterly meetings with speakers, and several free seminars per year.  Hope to see you June 9th.
