MONTGOMERY COUNTY GENEALOGICAL & HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETINGS are held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 P. M. at 221 N. Thompson Conroe, TX  (Thompson runs in front of the courthouse and City Hall and crosses Highway 105.) This is located in the old Knox Furniture Store which in the next block from the Courthouse.  It is now a county courtroom. Refreshments and social start at 6:30. Paula Parke will be our speaker on August 5th. She will be presenting Using Newspapers as a Genealogical Source.
