    3. I would like information on the following family: 1900 Montague County Allen, William 7-1853 Tn Tn Tn marr 13 yrs. Restaurant Maggie A 9-1867 Mo Mo Mo (He was in Bowie) In the 1910 Fannin County, Texas Census, he was listed in the household of his brother,Thomas H. Allen. He was 66 years of age, a widower, and proprietor of a restaurant. He had a civil War pension from Texas because of service in company B. 1st Tennessee Infantry. He was shot in the hip in the battle at Sharpsburg, Virginia. Two sisters nursed him to health. He returned to his regiment and was captured at Gettysburg. He was imprisoned in Nashville, because he would not sign a loyalty oath. After release he moved with his brother to Texas, In the Odd Fellows home at Corsicana, Texas 1901, he was almost blind. He returned to Tennessee to live with his sister in 1918. He died and was buried at the Confederate Soldiers Home at Hermitage, Tennessee, on 04-02-1922.
