It is time to register for the upcoming Genealogy After Hours program NOW. The seats are limited, so please contact the library to register and send in you money. If you have access to a library of genealogical society, please make a poster to advertise the meeting. Barbara Rust, an archivist for the National Archives, will be the featured speaker at the fifth annual Genealogy After Hours program at the Emily Fowler Central Library in Denton. Topics to be covered are records available at the National Archives, the recently released 1930 census records, Indian records and naturalization records. The program, which is a joint presentation of the Denton County Genealogy Society and the Denton Public Library, will be held on July 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. There is a registration fee of $8.00 and pre-registration is required.
