William Riley COUCH was born in Missouri in 1856. He lived in Grayson County, Texas, as a youth, and was probably the William R. COUCH listed in the 1880 census of Cooke County, Texas, with wife, Mary E. (born in Indiana ca 1855), and son, Orville (Orvil) R. COUCH, born in Texas in 1879. William’s parents moved to Montague County in the 1880’s, and are buried in the Salona Cemetery. I have one unconfirmed report that William/Billie R. COUCH is also buried at Salona. Mike@Landwehr.com
