    3. The only Sarah listed in the Cemetery Book is Sarah E. Williams, WF of J E V, and there isn't a listing for who J E V is. Date of birth, June 11, 1825, date of death, Jan 23, 1902. Hope this is the right one. If you think she might be buried in another cemetery, I would be glad to look it up for you. Sarah was born around 1826, and was living near Salona in 1900. I suspect that she died in Montague County between 1900 and 1910, and that she is buried in Montague County. She may be buried in the Salona Cemetery. Could someone on the list do a cemetery lookup for Sarah Williams for me? Thanks so much. 3. Hi Vicki, Thanks for the lookup. I'm confident that the Sarah E. Williams you found was the correct one. I didn't tell you her middle initial, but I believe that her name was Sarah E. Williams (per the 1900 census). I'm assuming that you located her in the Salona Cemetery. Can you confirm that for me? At this point, I don't know who "J E V" was. I guess there are a couple of possibilities. Sarah's husband could have been J. E. Williams. The "V" could have been a "W", and could have been mis-read by the person who canvassed the cemetery. There is another possibility. The 1900 census indictated that Sarah was born in Georgia. I haven't located Sarah E. Williams in the 1880 census, and don't know her husband's name. But I did locate a Verd Williams family in Ellis County, Texas, in 1880. He was 63, born in Tennessee. Verd's wife was listed as E. Williams, age 53, born in Georgia. The age and place of birth for E. Williams match well with the Sarah E. Williams I have in the 1900 census, and that you found in the cemetery.. Perhaps "J E V" were the initials for "J E Verd Williams"? Verd and Sarah had a son named Norton Williams, born about 1854. Is there, by any chance, a Norton Williams buried in the same cemetery as the Sarah E. Williams you located? Thanks so much for your assistance.
