I remember some of my uncles (actually half-uncles) from when I was small but then lost contact with that side of the family as I got older, especially after my father died. I never could keep their names straight. I remember Uncle Tommy and his kids (esp. Stanley), and I believe it was Uncle Oliver who was killed during the robbery. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm looking forward to your reply, and please feel free to contact me directly through my e-address if you want. Thanks, Tina R. Moody, TX third daughter of Jessie Virgil Walls (Lillie May's second child by Jesse Walls)

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Mobley, Hudson, Harmon, Robbins Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ikB.2ACE/46.1 Message Board Post: Oh, just came across your post. Have I talked to you before? I lose track of stuff so easy.;-) Yes, I know something about them. John HUDSON and Mary "Polly" HARMON were my great-great grandparents. I have some xerox copies of of a photo of them and their youngest daughter, Bessie, standing in from to the little store in about 1910. The photo belongs to Mrs. " Pat" (Mobley) Kelly, their great-grandaughter who lives in Wiley, TX. John and Polly's daughter, Nora Florance HUDSON, married Robert "Fird" Ferdnan MOBLEY in Montague Co., TX and their gradkids put up the monument to both the MOBLEY and HUDSON side of the family in that cemetary. I think I remember Pat telling me last year when I visited that her father, Melvin MOBLEY ran the store for a few years after his father died. Anyway, I have John HUDSON (and his wife's) death certificate and it says that he died on 16 Jul 1928 at R#2, Montague Co., TX (city of Nocona was written in but marked out) the information was from Jim HUDSON of Oakwood, OK.. his son. It says place of burial or removal was Forestburg Cem. and the burial was 16 Jul 1928. His wife died 9 Feb 1940 and was buried at the Perryman Cem. on Feb 10. The funeral home was Howard-Cone Funeral home in Nocona. G. F. TIPTON, their youngest daughter, Bessie's, husband gave the information. I'd like to know more about the HUDSON side of the family that moved to Texas/Oklahoma. I'm very interested to find out if any of John HUDSON's relatives moved there with him from Marion and Sequatchie Co. TN. Maybe some of the HARMONs, too. I'd like to find out more about their decendants and what became of them. I have very little on those that stayed in or moved to Oklahoma. Thank you
