This is what I know. James was born in TN and supposedly married Mattie Watson there. They had a son, Carl Odell Thomas born in TN or MS 8-14-1880 who married Ruby English from Montague Co. TX about 1902. Census records show Odell and Ruby's first children born 1902-1908 in TX. Then they moved to Marlow, OK. By 1920 they had moved to Ryan, OK. Carl Odell was killed by lightning in 1920. His obit lists his name as Charley and said his father, J. Webb Thomas, was still alive and lived in Walters, Oklahoma. I have gone through the census records for 1910 & 1920 for this section of OK and can't find James. I am the grandson of Carl's son, Ernest Webster Thomas. Thanks.

They are twins Stella and Della age 13 and son Elbert age 11. Lymon and Dora are buried in the Mountain Creek Cemetery near St. Jo Texas. Did the children survive? I have alot of information on the Hutson side of the family and several Hutsons married Edwards. I would like to know if these Edwards are related. Any and all help appreciated.
