Hello Listmembers I am hoping to find information on Jackson P Jones b. Mississippi 1866 married Rachael Owens and sometime around 1882-1899 lived in Texas & Indian Territory. In 1900 was living in CHICKASAW NATION, and in 1910 living in Beckham Co, Oklahoma. Can anyone shed some light on this family? Any suggestions on where exactly this family settled in Texas would be a tremendous help.. My Geography knowledge is slim to none in these areas I am sorry to say. Per 1920 Census, James A, wife Hattie, son Emerson, dau Mildred lived Bowie City, Montague, James was a barber, James and Hattie along with Hattie's sister and mother are buried Waurika, Jefferson Co, Oklahoma. Green A and Ophelia were my 3rd great grandparents. As well in the 1920 Census is a Tom W Phillips also a barber, linking that with the 1900, 1910 census, I believe Tom and James were brothers and their Father was Richard B Phillips born 5 1863 in Kentucky and mother Caroline Lizzie, or Lizzie C, (both names from Census) from Missouri, Any help verifying this is correct parents for James Arthur, and anything else is apperciated.
