Daryl Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Ms. Salge died Sunday, Feb. 27, at her residence. She was born Sept. 29, 1928, to Hilmar C. Salge and Leona Wenzel Salge in New Braunfels. Ms. Salge lived in Rockdale for several years until her retirement from Richards Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Adlai Salge. Survivors are two sisters, Inez Guenther and husband Harlan, and Betty Ormond and husband Orville, all of New Braunfels; two brothers, Hilmar Salge Jr. and wife Gloria, and Francis Salge and wife Patsy, all of New Braunfels; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
