He was born on January 12, 1954 in Bay City to James Leo Hagaman, Sr. and Bertha Jane Genzer Hagaman. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a retired supervisor for Alcoa Aluminum of Point Comfort & Rockdale, a former EMT, volunteer firefighter, member of the Knights of Columbus and a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Mae Holloway Hagaman of Blessing; his daughter & son-in-law: Stacy & Andy Novak of Blessing; his son & daughter-in-law: Cody & Marla Hagaman of Aransas Pass; mother-in-law: Ruth Holloway of Blessing; sister: Teresa West of Bay City; and grandson: Dalton James Novak of Blessing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha & James L. Hagaman, Sr.; his father-in-law: Floyd Merdith Holloway; and by his brother, Samuel Hagaman. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Palacios Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral mass will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 21, 2005 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing with Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be Jake Foltyn, W. C. Greenlaw, Bubba Massey, Jim Matthes, Kim Abshire and Randy Kirby.
