Graveside services were held 1 p.m. Thursday Feb. 24, in the Salty Cemetery near Rockdale. Mr. Kintz was born March 9, 1927 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Louis C. and Mable (Russell) Kintz. Mr. Kintz was a resident of Newberg, OR formerly of Grosebeck and Houston. He was a mechanical engineer with a window manufacturing company. Mr. Kintz married Evelyn V. Paris on Dec. 9, 1955, in Houston. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Kintz of Newberg, OR; two sons, James L. Kirk of Riverside, CA, Jessie Kirk of Houston; a daughter, Barbara Ann Sugerman of Vancover, WA; a sister, Suzanne Brown of Indiana; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
