Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday, March 14 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Minister Joe Don Brymer officiating. Burial followed in the Sand Grove Cemetery near Milano. She was born Aug. 10, 1910 in Cruz to Daniel and Katie (Shepard) Woolverton. She married Robert Allen Connally Sr. Mrs. Connally enjoyed visiting, making friends and telling stories about her childhood. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and an infant son. Survivors include son Robert Allen Connally Jr. of Luling; daughters Joann Goodling of Austin, Mary Lou Lewis of Newfield, NJ; brother J. D. Woolverton of Rockdale; sisters Lila Hood of Rockdale, Ophelia Beard of Houston; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
