John Davis, Rev. Tom Ford and Rev. Guy Lombardo officiating. Mrs. Walston died Thursday March 17, at Osage Beach Health Care Center in Osage Beach, MO. She was born on Dec. 17, 1935, in Dortmund, Germany, to Theo and Klara Kroll Neumann. She married Charles “Buddy” Walston on June 18, 1952, in Hanau, Germany. Mrs. Walston was a homemaker and a restaurant owner; she loved working at CJ’s on Saturday morning so she could visit all her friends that came in. She was a past member of C.A.D.V. and loved her grandchildren. Survivors are a daughter, Cindy Sherrell and husband Jamie of Camdenton, MO two sons, Carl Walston and wife Deborah of Stover, MO, and Tom Walston of Camdenton, MO; a sister, Uschy Rack and husband Bodo of Germany; six grandchildren, Christopher Walston, Casey Sherrell, Dallas Williams, Amber Walston, Heather Walston, Charity Sherrell; a great-grandson, Gavin Grunzinger; a niece, Jessica Klein and husband Matthais; and a great-nephew, Coleen Klein of Hanau, Germany. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
