Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday March 16, in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. Trish Holland of First Presbyterian in Rockdale officiating. Ms. Stribling was born Dec. 9, 1908 in Rockdale to C. K. and Mary Jeanette (Copeland) Stribling. She was a graduate of Rockdale High School and was a cheerleader, she also attended college for one year. She was born and raised in Rockdale. Ms. Stribling lived and worked in Houston and returned to Rockdale 40 years ago. She worked as copier for Great Southern Life Insurance for 23 1/2 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Helen S. McGuyer, Catherine Stribling, Esta Quinlan, and Brownie Laurence.
