Funeral Mass was held March 7 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Nicolas Rendon, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Englewood Cemetery. Adamek was born Feb. 2, 1915 in Cameron and married Henry Adamek Dec. 31, 1935 in Cameron. They lived in Littlefield and New Home before moving to Slaton in 1944. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Adamek, and a son, Pat. Survivors include son, Henry Michael Adamek of Bay Center, WA; daughters, Janet Reynolds of Southland and Judith Tullis of Plainview; sisters, Angie Cabron of Rivera, and Christine Slavik and Jody Pernice, both of Cameron; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
