Carl Hudson officiating. Burial followed in the Little River Cemetery. She died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002 at her residence following an illness. Mrs. Newberry was born Oct. 15, 1940 in McCamey and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Little River Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the church WMU. Surviving are: Husband, Daniel Newberry of Cameron; daughter, Bobbie Kay Carrington of Tulsa, OK; brother, Don Morrison of San Antonio; five grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and two nephews.
