Max Rosas of the Assembly of God, Rockdale officiating. He died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002 in Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Mr. Ramos, a Rockdale resident the past 20 years, formerly of Milano, was born Nov. 19, 1937 in Leming to David and Paula (Luna) Ramos. He was a carpenter. Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Mark David Ramos; three brothers, Gabriel, David and Onofre Ramos. Surviving are: Wife, Petra Ramos of Mexico; sons, Joe Ramos Jr. and Robert E. Ramos, both of Rockdale; nine daughters, Corina Ramos Luna, Lisa Ramos, Josie Ramos, all of Rockdale, Martha Ramos of Glen Rose, Paula L. Ramos, Alma S. Lawhon, Jessie Nieto, Monica Flores and Veronica Ramos, all of Rockdale; brother, Vasilio Luna of Stephenville; sisters, Ursula Henry of Leming, Romana Chavarria of Eagle Pass and Carolina Moreno of San Antonio; 21 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Ramos, Joe Ramos Jr., Joe Lewis Henry, Manuel Luna, John Lawhon, Victor Ramos and Victor Henry.
