Campbell, 65, were held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Doug Springer officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Retreat Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002 in St. David’s Hospital in Austin. Mrs. Campbell, a Round Rock resident the past six years, formerly living in Burnet, was born Nov. 22, 1936 in Cedar Park to James Harold Abrams and Julia Ann (Brown) Koehler. She and Clinton D. "Jack" Campbell were married Nov. 15, 1958 in Bellaire. Mrs. Campbell had lived in Thorndale for a brief time after retiring as a secretary from Hudson Oil in Houston and Mobil Oil of Midland. She was preceded in death by her father, James Harold Abrams; mother, Julia Ann (Brown) Koehler; husband, Clinton D. "Jack" Campbell, Nov. 24, 1996; brother, Wesley Ray Haley. Surviving are: Daughter, Cynthia Moore and husband Ray of Round Rock; grandchildren, C.J. and Sara; sister, Billie Ann Chometa and husband Ed of Terrell; sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Haley of Houston; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Neil Caffey, Edward McRae, Daniel McRae, Craig Gunderson, Doug Markwardt and Brick Scott. Honorary pallbearer was John Caffey.
