Funeral services were held Aug. 27 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. Charles Cole of First Baptist Church of Milano officiating. Burial followed in the Milano Cemetery. Ivey was born April 7, 1961 in Houston to William Max and Juanita Mildred Thomas Ivey. He lived in Milano for the past six years having moved from Jewitt and was married to Debbie Westbrook on March 17, 1996 in Milano. Ivey was self-employed as a contract service in the oil industry for one year and previously employed by Butler Weldments Corp. of Cameron for the past five years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ivey is survived by his wife, Debbie Ivey of Milano; step-daughter, Brook Morgan of Corsicana; brothers, Mark Ivey and Robert Ivey, both of Jewitt, and Shaun Ivey of Ackerman, MS; grandmother, Mildred Landers of New Caney.
