I have a few HAIRSTONs .... all linked somehow to the CLOUD line of Milam county, TX Alice HAIRSTON (b. 11-14-1878 TX) married William Tom CARTER, son of Thos Council CARTER (1842 MS-1929 TX) and Margarette CLOUD (1848 TX-?) Alice was the dau of Josie R. HAIRSTON and Nancy CARTER. don't know who Josie's parents were. Nancy CARTER's parents were Jackson Alexander CARTER and Dorcus Pryor TAYLOR. She later married James CARROLL (no knowledge of any children). George Pope HAIRSTON who I just replied about -- thanks for locating their graves -- and their children J.D.
