I am so pleased to be on the list, from the digest form which is not easy. I want to thank you for the news items from long ago. If our ancestors were "colorful" or vagabonds, thieves they are just that more fun.I thought for awhile most were saints as that is how several little 90 yr.old ladies represented theirs while helping me with genealogy. Just kidding. I keep in touch with a list in Ky. connected with Land Between the Lakes, formerly "between the rivers". They formed a group of volunteers and in the spring start their cemetery cleaning on weekends. They have been going several years now. They enjoy it and you can imagine how they have done"good". I enjoyed Asa's cemetery story and wonder how many more lost graveyards there are in Milam. I also appreciate the interest some have taken in the county's history.
