Hickman, 81, died Nov. 23 in Houston. His funeral was held Nov. 26 with interment following. He was born Sept. 15, 1921 in Cameron and was a veteran of World War II. He retired from Houston Pipe Line in 1984. He is survived by his wife Edna Broaddus Hickman; son Lynn Hickman of Pasadena; daughters Lynette Turbeville of Vidor and Lynee Fehler of League City; five grandchidren Chad and Cayla Turbeville, Jacob Hickman and Brandon and Joshua Fehler; brother Gordon Hickman of Clute; and sisters Marguerita Michalka of Cameron and Evalou Oglesby of Granbury.
