I am not sure this is related, but my cousin and I are restoring an abandoned family cemetery "Laughlin Family Cemetery" located 3 mi E of Davilla, Milam Co., Texas There are two Dyers interred there: Ruth Dyer, died 12-06-1888, aged 101 years, 7 mos, 9 days. and William T. Dyer, born 12-25-1832, died 02-15-1868, age 35 years, 1 mo, 21 days. I have been researching all of the burials there and have run into a dead end on these two people. If they are who you are looking for please let me know, I am trying to get a Texas State Historical Designation for this cemetery and they want to know the genealogy of those interred, for historical purposes.
