Jimmy Sanders officiating. Mr. Caywood died Tuesday, July 16, in a Temple hospital. He was born June 14, 1933, in Rockdale and was a Rockdale High School graduate. He married Leila Buchanan in 1989. Mr. Caywood had been a civil engineer and had worked for Alcoa. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors are his wife, Leila Caywood of Cameron; four step-sons, Bruce Buchanan of Wisconsin, Robert Buchanan of Mississippi, Herbert Buchanan of Wisconsin and Donnie Buchanan of Milano; five step-daughters, Brenda Harvey of Hempstead, Cynthia Howard of Bryan, Stella Bryan of Florida, Betty Holmes of Bryan and Marie Buegler of Rockdale; also, 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
