Here's the 1880 census. There is a 14 year old Walden. I haven't seen the documentation of Martha being Martha Walden--I guess there is a marriage license?. If so, then Thomas is Martha's step-son or Martha's brother-in-law. Interesting. Since Walden is dead in this scenerio, our bet is Thomas is step-son?. Oh well any ideas?.
