Joseph Strelsky, one of Mr. Strelsky’s sons, had been seriously injured. It seems that the band running from the fly-wheel of the engine to the gin slipped and caught around the pulley, jerking the gin stand over on young Strelsky and crushing him against the wall. Both legs were terribly crushed below the knees, and his breast was injured. Dr. Horton and Dr. Walker rendered prompt assistance on their arrival and set the injured joints. He will probably lose one, if not both, of his legs. The bones were mashed through the skin at one place.
